After postponing two years because of the pandemic, the Reunion Committee of the Class of 1970 has set a date for the 50-ish Reunion.
The committee is still meeting to decide on details, but here’s what we know so far:
We’ll meet Friday night at the Hilton Garden Inn in West Des Moines (formerly Valley Junction). There will be food and entertainment. A block of discounted rooms has been reserved for classmates coming from out of town.
On Saturday we’ll return to more familiar territory closer to Roosevelt High School, for a more informal evening of pay-as-you-go food and drinks at the Waveland Golf Course clubhouse.
